Tough Doubles Draw For Kiwi

Kiwi hope Marina Erakovic and Slovenian partner Polona Hercog received the worst possible draw for their opening match of the ASB Classic doubles.
The wildcard combination will face the world''''s top-ranked combination and top seeds Cara Black (Zimbabwe) and Liezel Huber (USA) on the opening afternoon of the tournament.
Black is a previous doubles winner at Auckland, teaming with Alexandra Fusai of France back in 2000, the same year she lost the singles final to Anne Kremer of Luxembourg.
At the other end of the draw, second seeds Sania Mirza (India) and Virginia Ruano Pascual (Spain) will also encounter a wildcard entry, Slovenian Dominika Cibulkova and Belgian Yanina Wickmayer.
The third-seeded Italian pairing of Flavia Pennetta and Francesca Schiavone meet Romanian Edina Gallovits and Israeli Shahar Peer.
