World No1 doubles combo Cara Black and Liezel Huber have booked their spot in the semifinals at the ASB Classic with a straight sets win over Romanians Monica Niculescu and Ioana Raluca Olaru.
The Zimbabwean and American will now meet Italian Fed Cup combination Flavia Pennetta and Francesca Schiavone tomorrow''s for a place in Saturday''s KIA Motors Doubles final.
The first semifinal will be played between Vladimira Uhlirova/Renata Voracova of the Czech Republic and Natalie Grandin (South Africa)/Laura Granville (USA) during this evening''s session.
Schiavone faces Frenchwoman Alize Cornet at 7.30pm for the last remaining spot in the KIA Motors Singles semifinals.
