World No1s Cara Black of Zimbabwe and Liezel Huber of the United States have added to their formidable reputation by capturing the KIA Motors Doubles at the 2010 ASB Classic.

The top seeds needed 1h 18m to overcome Natalie Grandin of South Africa and Laura Granville of the United States 7-6(4) 6-2.

Grandin/Granville gave their highly rated opponents all they could handle in the first set, breaking them twice and forcing a tiebreak.

But once Black/Huber had survived that challenge, they took complete control of the match, breaking both their rivals'' serves.

Grandin/Granville survived three match points on Grandin''s serve at 1-5, but were unable to delay the inevitable any further.

The victory is Black''s 52nd WTA doubles title and the 40th for Huber.
