FUNDS RAISED WILL GO TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF PAEDIATRIC OXYGEN SATURATION PROBES
These specially designed probes are used to detect low oxygen levels in children being taken to hospital by ambulance. A probe designed for children is far more accurate than an adult one. On arrival at the hospital the probe readings allow the medical team to quickly map a treatment path when time is of the essence. The cost per probe is $734 and St John need 40 to equip all Northern Region frontline units. St John is grateful for the support from their partners.
