Roberto Bautista Agut leads the Spaniards at 14 in the world and is the ASB Classic defending champion. The 28-year-old defeated Jack Sock in this year's final and went on to have his best year yet on tour. He clinched the Sofia Open in February for his fourth ATP title, reached the fourth round of the Australian Open and Roland Garros and beat Novak Djokovic to reach his first ATP Masters final in Shanghai. The Auckland regular is the first Spaniard younger than Rafael Nadal to get inside of the Top 30 with a career high ranking of 14. 2014 was his breakthrough year where he won two ATP singles titles at the Topshelf Open and the Mercedes Cup. He also reached the fourth round of the 2014 Australian Open, 2014 US Open, 2015 US Open and 2015 Wimbledon. In 2015 he managed two finals in Valencia and Moscow and semi-finals in Umag and Munich.
