Ticket refund information

To ticketholders for the ASB Classic singles final:

Unfortunately weather conditions affected the ASB Classic singles final and it had to be moved from centre court to an indoor court. We apologise to those who were unable to watch the match as we could not accommodate all 3000 tickets holders to the final in any indoor venue.

All ticket sales included terms and conditions which state that if we are unable to have one hour's play on a day due to rain then the ticketholder is entitled to a 50% refund. The application for the refund is to be made to Tennis Auckland by 31 March 2012.

Refunds only apply to tickets purchased in advance and does not include any complimentary tickets, box-holder tickets, tournament tickets or five-year seat holders. However we have decided to offer a refund to the tournament ticket and five-year seat holder tickets on this one occasion.

Ticket conditions are also clearly printed on the inside of the ticket wallets for both the ASB Classic and the Heineken Open. Refund policies for tournaments around the world differ from no refunds at all to full refunds. Our policy has been in place for as long as we have been running the tournaments.
