Ana Ivanovic receives champagne diamond ring thanks to Moët & Chandon

Tennis sensation Ana Ivanovic visited Naveya & Sloane yesterday with Moët & Chandon, to pick up her new bespoke champagne diamond ring worth $20,000.

Wanting to welcome Ana back to New Zealand in style, Moët & Chandon partnered with their friends at Naveya & Sloane, to create the stunning piece of jewellery that she can enjoy during the ASB Classic and beyond. There are 31 diamonds in the ring with a 1.65 total carat weight.

“We were thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with Naveya & Sloane again this year and present the diamond ring to Ana, a former champion of the ASB Classic. She is someone that embodies glamour, elegance and success, making her a perfect fit for both brands,” says Rai Banbury, Senior Brand Manager.

Naveya & Sloane spent some time on the design and craftsmanship of the ring to ensure it captured a true representation of both Ana’s love for tennis and the Moët & Chandon brand.

“The energy and elegance of Moët & Chandon has driven the inspiration behind this precious piece with the chosen materials reflecting their iconic colours - gold and champagne diamond.  A red ruby, called ‘The Secret Spark’ is also set on the inside of the band, which is a signature mark of Naveya & Sloane. We hope it brings her luck during the tournament” says Naveya & Sloane Co-Founder, Rachel Sloane.

"This is one of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen. It is elegant and sophisticated yet unique and modern, the qualities that I strive for myself. I am very grateful for this stunning gift and thankful to Moët & Chandon and Naveya & Sloane for choosing me to have it. I look forward to the rest of my time in Auckland and hopefully celebrating another great victory together with Moët & Chandon and Naveya & Sloane”, says Ana Ivanovic.

Ivanovic’s champagne diamond ring is one of two of the bespoke rings created by Naveya & Sloane for the 2016 ASB Classic. The second ring will be on display at the Moët & Chandon Champagne Lounge during the ASB Classic, 4th-16th January 2016.

Visitors to the Moët & Chandon Champagne Lounge who purchase a flute during the tournament will have the opportunity to win the champagne diamond ring.
