Compatriots head to head

Today's doubles final sees world number three and four, Alexander Peya (AUT) and Bruno Soares (BRA), go up against their respective compatriots, Julian Knowle (AUT) and Marcelo Melo (BRA).

Peya and Soares advanced through the draw by overcoming Columbian duo, Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah in the first round, 7-5, 6-1; then went on to defeat Denmark's Frederik Nielsen and the Netherlands', Igor Sijsling in the quarter final. Finally, the pair took out Daniele Bracciali and Lukas Dlouhy in  yesterday's semi, to make today's final.

Julian Knowle and Marcelo Melo find themselves in the Doubles Final after defeating tournament second seed, Tommy Haas and his partner, Andre Sa (Bra) in the first round; then Andre Begemann and Martin Emmrich in the quarters. They then defeated Eric Butorac and Raven Klaasen to earn a spot in today's final.
