Heineken Baseline Party headline acts announced
The Heineken Open Baseline After Party will once again be the ultimate finale to a week of great tennis.
Headlining acts for the 2013 Baseline After Party include New Zealand’s top female artist, Ladi6, Kiwi hip-hop heavy weight, David Dallas, and electro-pop princess, Ruby Frost.
Bringing the hard-hitting urban hip-hop beats and sublime rhyme skills to the event will be Auckland artist David Dallas. Hot on the heels of his recently released album Buffalo Man, David will bring the songs to life and light up the Baseline stage with his usual unforgettable lyrical performance.
Making her mark on the Kiwi music scene for a decade, Ladi6 is now a household name within New Zealand. This strong, smart MC and warm soul singer has a silky smooth voice and has recently stamped her vocal talents all over our national music charts with her latest album the ‘Liberation Of…’.
Taking top billing at the Heineken Open Baseline After Party is electro-pop princess Ruby Frost, who will hit the right notes with her infectious electro tunes and take the event well into the evening.
Carla Rawson, Heineken Brand Manager, says the Heineken Open Baseline After Party is the perfect way to cap off a week of unforgettable tennis action at the Heineken Open.
“The Heineken Baseline After Party has been running for four years now and each year the spectacle keeps getting bigger and better! Last year our sold out Baseline After Party was a hit with those who wanted to experience the fantastic tennis atmosphere, and also for people looking for the perfect way to end the week’s tennis action on a high note. This year the team has managed to sign-up an enviable line-up of Kiwi artists to ensure that the Baseline After Party is once again the social event not to be missed in January.”
The Heineken Baseline After Party kicks off as soon as the 2013 Heineken Open final presentation ends on Saturday 12 January.
Heineken Baseline After Party ticket holders can enter the ASB Tennis Arena at the start of play and enjoy the final match at the Heineken Open Party Zone on the back courts. The matches are played out on mega screens so no one misses out on the on-court action and everyone is in prime position for when the party gets started.
